About Us
Gamebridge is a charitable unincorporated association, setup for the public benefit, to provide further and higher education students and graduates with the additional skills, understanding, and opportunities needed to secure employment within the video game, and related creative industries; through the provision of industry talks, networking events, and competitions.
Dominic Chapman
Dominic has been designing and developing games for over 18 years, working on projects from browser based MMOs to indie horror games for PC. His day job is as a course group leader, leading games art, design, and programming courses within higher education. He brings his passion for game development into his courses by striving to intergrate cutting-edge gaming technologies and workflows into the education sector.
Laura Dilloway
Laura has been working as an environment artist in the games industry since 2006. Over this time she has worked her way from junior up to lead, and worked in companies from tiny indie to AAA to outsource. She has been involved with the wider Cambridge game dev scene for most of this time, supporting both students and professionals through her work with Games Eden and Game Anglia, and by invitation to assist at FXP Festival and Anglia Ruskin University.
Michael Farrow-Killick
Michael is a games development lecturer and course lead, and has been teaching games development within further education for over 10 years. He has supported the design and release of multiple student projects that have been released for mobile, console and PC. He has been nominated for a BAFTA in 2021 for the Young Games Designer competition for his work with young people and creating their projects, and recently released his first games design book 'The Way We Play'.
Alexander Chapman
Alex is a freelance writer and game/puzzle designer, with a passion for strong narratives and immersive experiences. He has written and run everything from a murder mystery at Madame Tussauds to ancient Egyptian cult intrigue on a Thames River Cruiser. When not designing elaborate ways to use a candlestick in the conservatory he keeps involved with the education sector and is currently working on a number of EdTech projects.
